Hunter 4H urban pathways drive:

What is it? It's a necessities drive for homeless that include donating toothbrushes, toilet papers, clothing etc. The drive will run until Dec 15th or 17th, when we'll collect our necessities and give it to the urban pathways committee, in which they will make gift baskets worth $25 each and donate it to the homeless. Collection boxes will be in the first floor main entrance and also the community service office. We are also accepting monetary donations, if the recipient could email Hunter4H@gmail.com and organize a time and place to collect the money (we will buy necessities with the collected money).

Other

Annual Fund:

The Fall Annual Fund Drive kicked off this week! The Annual Fund is the primary fund raising project for the PTA. Those families who have not yet contributed this year should have received a packet in the mail highlighting the importance of this initiative. The suggested contribution is $1000 per child, but any amount is welcome. We encourage 100% participation! Submit before the end of the year to get your tax deduction. Donate online at HunterPTA.org, or send a check to HCHS PTA Annual Fund, 71 E. 94th St., NY, NY 10128. Contact the Annual Fund Chairs with any questions—Lee Krug (krugl@mskcc.org) and Stacey Lippman (slippman13@gmail.com).

CAPA Fall Banquet Committee

The charm of our cultural banquet is symbolized by the place where the banquet will be given. Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel is well-known by its distinctly Asian flair. Located in downtown Flushing, one of New York City's famed cultural districts, the hotel presents our parents, teachers, and all other participants a unique Asian cultural atmosphere. You will be amazed by the fact that you even can shop for your Christmas gifts for your loved ones at the shopping mall within the hotel. Before or after our banquet, you can sightsee. Be sure to take time to enjoy so many wonders from around the world in downtown Flushing. For ticket and detail banquet information, please visit http://www.hunterpta.org/banquet. We look forward to welcoming you to join us for the Cultural Banquet at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel.
