Submit your art to the ARTillery contest! The prize is an iPod shuffle; the deadline, January 5, 2011. The theme is Photoshop and digital art - submit anything you like, whether it's photography, optical illusions and puzzles, or independent artwork. From 2014 (9th grade) Term Council:
It's that time of year again. Candygram season! 9th grade term council will be selling them starting Monday, December 6th, until the next Friday, December 17th. They will be $.50 for 1 and $5 for 12. Just look for the kids in the elf hats to buy. Send them to friends! Foes! Your secret crush! Whatever you do, just buy 'em!

This Monday (12/6), Clair Buffie, more commonly known as Miss New York, is coming to Hunter! She will be speaking in the auditorium during the afternoon (5th-8th periods). Ms. Buffie is one of the few, if not the only, pageant candidates to focus on the issue of LGBT equality in her campaign platform: "The issues of gay rights make up the civil rights movement of our generation and reach far beyond marriage equality. This will be a year of change in New York State and Claire is ready to support this incredible movement."
TECH CLUB
Ever been interested in Lighting or Sound at Hunter?!? Well TECH CLUB is having their first meeting on Thursday! We are meeting outside Room 333! We are a club devoted to teaching Hunter Students about lighting and sound design. We have a whole cast of guest speakers who will be coming to talk to us in 2011! Come to a quick meeting this Thursday to get to know the Tech team! We will also be discussing opportunities to work in the Tech Department of Hunter. If you cannot attend, but are still interested or have any questions at all, shoot an email to Adam10.93@gmail.com

Give your Annual Fund Donation before 12/31 to get your 2010 Tax Break!!!
This is a crucial month for Annual Fund contributions. We need your support to keep all of the programs supported by the PTA up and running. We are so thankful to those who have already shown their support. However, a surprisingly high percentage of people have not yet given. We are aiming for 100% participation!
